The Joyce Theater – New York, NY
Created for Cedar Lake by the Netherlands based choreographer, “Simply Marvel” is set to Paganini variations (with additional music by Theo Verbey) and contrasts sections of great chaos with cautious transformations using poetic duets and trios. The ex-Forsythe Ballett Frankfurt dancer’s new work is a collaboration with her frequent lighting and stage design partner Dietmar Janeck and is shaped by interwoven visual elements.
