Meet Buddy Elias, Anne Frank’s first cousin and only surviving family member, and his wife Gerti at the The Anne Frank Center USA, and also experience the organization’s new downtown Manhattan location. Buddy Elias and Gerti will read from their new book written with Mirjam Pressler. ” Treasures from The Attic: The Extraordinary Story of Anne Frank’s Family”, contains photographs, correspondence and other family keepsakes that offer a new glimpse of the Frank Family before the war, the tragic discovery of Edith, Margot and Anne’s deaths in concentration camps, and the resiliency of the family in the post war years.
