Screening of Nederlands Dans Theater “Move to Move” in US Cinemas

Emerging Pictures, North America’s largest supplier of alternative content for movie theaters, announced today the launch of its Fall-Winter 2012 season.  Opera in Cinema and Ballet in Cinema HD presentations will be shown on screens in nearly 400 multiplexes, art houses, museums and performing arts centers throughout the U.S. and Canada. 

The Ballet in Cinema season kicks off on September 23, with “Move to Move” fromNederlands Dans Theater, featuring the dancers of the NDT 1 and NDT 2 companies.  “Move to Move” is comprised of four contemporary ballets:  “Left Right Left Right” choreographed by Alexander Ekman, “Silent Screen” and “Shine a Light” choreographed by Sol Léon and Paul Lightfoot, and “Secus” choreographed by Ohad Naharin.
